DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/18 13:55 New Crop Corn, Soybean Prices Higher After Winter Storm Passes December corn closed up 4 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 8 cents, one day after the latest winter storm passed through northern states, leaving another trail of snow behind which will need to melt and vanish before northern fields can be planted. July KC wheat ended down 8 1/4 cents in spite of another day of red-flag warnings in the southwestern Plains. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 2 cents and December corn was up 4 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed up 5 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 8 cents. July KC wheat closed down 8 1/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 2 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 2 3/4 cents.
