DTN Early Word Grains 04/27 05:44 Grain Markets Lower on Liquidation, Slower Demand, Planting Prospects July corn is down 4 1/4 cents per bushel, July soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, and July KC wheat is down 10 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is down 4 1/4 cents per bushel, July soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents, and July KC wheat is down 10 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Equity prices higher Thursday morning, rebounding after both the S&P and the Dow closed lower on Wednesday. Stocks shrugged off tailwinds from Microsoft's strong earnings and sold off on fears that another interest rate hike from the Fed will slow the economy further. The Fed meets next week, and the market has priced in a 75% probability of a one quarter point rate hike. After Wednesday's close, Meta reported an increase in revenue for the 1st time in a year, which continues the good earnings reports from the tech sector and is helping markets trade higher Thursday morning. Thursday morning, we will get a read on the 1st GDP which is expected to show 2% growth. Export sales will also be out Thursday morning at 7:30. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 228.96 at 33,301.87 and the S&P 500 Index down 15.64 at 4,055.99. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.43%. Early Thursday, June Dow Jones futures are up 99 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.07%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.16% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.37%. Asian markets are also higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.15% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.07%.
