DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/01 14:04 Wheat Prices Extend Bearish Trends in May, While Soybeans Find Support July contracts of all three U.S. wheats posted double-digit losses Monday, starting a new month with the same old bearish influences. November soybeans closed up 11 1/2 cents, helped by better prospects for corn planting with this week's warmer temperatures. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn ended down 1/2 cent and December corn was down 2 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed up 8 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 11 1/2 cents. July KC wheat closed down 19 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 15 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 13 cents.
