DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/10 14:04 Crop Prices Mostly Lower, But July Corn Gets a Bounce July soybeans were down 10 1/4 cents and July contracts of U.S. winter wheat were 1 to 2 1/4 cents lower, but July corn ended up 9 1/4 cents Wednesday, taking back all, but 2 1/2 cents of Tuesday's loss. Wednesday was a good day for planting with traders apt to be cautious ahead of Friday's USDA reports. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 9 1/4 cents and December corn was up 2 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed down 10 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 3 3/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down a penny, July Chicago wheat was down 2 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 2 cents.
