DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/11 13:48 New-Crop Prices Lower Ahead of Friday's USDA Reports, Black Sea Talks on Question December corn, November soybeans and all three U.S. wheats were lower Thursday, one day before USDA releases estimates for both, old and new-crop seasons on Friday. July soybeans defied a mostly red commodity board, closing up 1 1/2 cents with help from a $11.90 gain in July soybean meal. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 11 3/4 cents and December corn was down 7 cents. July soybeans were up 1 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 2 3/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 13 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 14 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 12 cents.
