DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/16 14:00 Soybean Oil, Soybeans Fall to New Lows; Mostly Red Day For Grains July soybean oil posted the largest percentage loss in Tuesday's grain-related sector, falling 2.24 cents to 47.45 cents, the lowest spot close in over two years. July contracts of soybeans were down 36 3/4 cents, corn was down 11 1/4 cents and two of the three U.S. wheats were also lower even though there has been no word from Russia regarding extending the Black Sea grain deal. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 11 1/4 cents and December corn was down 9 3/4 cents. July soybeans closed down 36 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 24 1/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 3 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 13 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 5 1/2 cents.
