DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/17 13:56 July Contracts of Corn, Soybeans, Two US Wheats Take Big Hits Wednesday July corn closed down 19 3/4 cents, hurt by news of another cancellation of a previous corn sale to China. July soybeans were down 27 cents and July Chicago wheat dropped 22 cents to $6.6.25 1/2, taking the worst of the selling after Russia agreed to extend the Black Sea grain deal another two months. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 19 3/4 cents and December corn was down 6 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed down 27 cents and November soybeans were down 19 1/2 cents. July KC wheat closed down 9 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 22 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 20 3/4 cents.
