DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/19 14:13 Soybeans, Wheat End Bearish Week With Largest Percentage Losses December corn tried to trade higher Friday, but slipped back below $5.00 at the end, escaping much larger losses seen in soybeans and wheat. All the active grain-related contracts closed lower for the week with December corn posting the smallest percentage loss and July KC wheat tying with July soybeans for the largest percentage loss. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 3/4 cent and December corn was down 1 cent. July soybeans closed down 26 cents and November soybeans were down 11 1/2 cents. July KC wheat closed down 32 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 6 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 23 3/4 cents.
