DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/24 13:57 Corn Higher on Drier Forecast; Wheat Prices Sink December corn was up a third consecutive day, closing at $5.20 Wednesday with a seven-day forecast that remains dry for the central and eastern Midwest. July KC wheat fell 29 1/2 cents to $8.12 1/4 as some hard red winter wheat crops received benefit from recent rains. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 9 3/4 cents and December corn was up 3 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed up 2 cents and November soybeans were down 2 3/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 29 1/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 16 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 22 3/4 cents.
