DTN Early Word Grains 06/14 05:18 Grain Prices Lower Early Wednesday With Increased Rain Chances December corn is down 5 1/2 cents, November soybeans are down 7 cents and July KC wheat is down 10 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 5 1/2 cents, November soybeans are down 7 cents and July KC wheat is down 10 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, U.S. stocks are trading a little lower with traders cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve's rate decision. The U.S. Labor Department will release its May report of producer prices at 7:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday, followed by weekly energy inventories at 9:30 a.m. from the Energy Department. Many will tune in at 1 p.m. to see if the Federal Reserve raises the federal funds rate target or not, followed by a press conference for Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 145.79 at 34,212.12 and the S&P 500 Index up 30.08 at 4,369.01. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.84%, near the highest yield in over two months ahead of Wednesday's rate decision from the Fed. Early Wednesday, June Dow Jones futures are down 20 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.11%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.46% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.73%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.47% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.14%.
