DTN Early Word Grains 06/16 05:33 Row Crop Prices Continue to Lift Grains Higher Early Friday December corn is up 8 cents, November soybeans are up 16 cents and July KC wheat is up 6 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 8 cents, November soybeans are up 16 cents and July KC wheat is up 6 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Friday, U.S. stocks are trading a little lower, in contrast to higher trading in both Europe and Asia. Aside from the Federal Reserve projecting a half-percent increase in interest rates, the most supportive news of the week were the two inflation reports, both showing an easing of inflationary pressures. Other than the University of Michigan's report on U.S. consumer sentiment, due out at 9 a.m. CDT, there are no significant reports Friday. Traders continue to closely watch the latest weather forecasts. Markets will close at their normal times Friday, ahead of the Juneteenth market holiday on Monday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 428.73 at 34,408.06 and the S&P 500 Index up 53.25 at 4,425.84. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.73%. Early Friday, September Dow Jones futures are up 30 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.63%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.34% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.75%. Asian markets are also higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.66% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.63%.
