DTN Early Word Grains 06/27 05:56 Grain Markets Lower on Better Weather Forecasts, Shrugging Off Crop Condition Declines December corn is down 14 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 31 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 16 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 19 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 9 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 14 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 31 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 16 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 19 3/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 9 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Equity markets are slightly higher Tuesday morning, after a modestly lower session Monday. The Dow has fallen for five consecutive sessions, but the S&P 500 is performing better and at current prices, is in line for the best monthly close since January. Markets are less worried Tuesday morning about the situation in Russia. There were no major economic reports Monday, but Tuesday we will get the Durable Goods report, the Case Shiller home index, and a Consumer Confidence reading. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 12.72 at 33,714.71 and the S&P 500 down 19.51 at 4,328.82, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.72%. Early Tuesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are up 19 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.08%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.06% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.06%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.49% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.23%.
