DTN Closing Grain Comments 06/29 13:55 With Dry Fields, Severe Weather and Wet Forecasts, Crop Prices End Mixed Thursday December corn closed down 8 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 3/4 cent Thursday, fields of both crops still mostly waiting for the rain and getting more than expected in Illinois on Thursday. U.S. wheat prices were mixed with September Minneapolis wheat up 7 1/4 cents on the day, not seeing much rain in the forecast for the northwestern Plains. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 9 cents and December corn was down 8 1/4 cents. July soybeans closed up 32 cents and November soybeans were up 3/4 cent. September KC wheat closed down 5 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 2 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 7 1/4 cents.
