DTN Early Word Grains 07/06 05:22 U.S. Crop Prices Mixed Early Thursday, Stock Futures Lower December corn was up 1 cent, November soybeans was down 1 1/2 cents and September KC wheat was down 2 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was up 1 cent, November soybeans was down 1 1/2 cents and September KC wheat was down 2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Thursday, U.S. stock futures are trading lower, the same as stocks in Europe and Asia. Minutes from the latest Federal Reserve meeting saw support for more rate hikes, as expected. U.S. weekly jobless claims, the U.S. trade deficit for May and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor will all be out at 7:30 a.m. CDT Thursday, followed by the U.S. Energy Department's weekly energy inventories at 10 a.m. USDA's weekly export sales report isn't out until Friday, due to this week's holiday schedule. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 129.83 at 34,288.64 and the S&P 500 Index down 8.77 at 4,446.82. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.95%. Early Thursday, September Dow Jones futures are down 149 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 1.14%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.87% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 1.61%. Asian markets are also lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.70% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.54%.
