DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/19 13:54 Russia Escalates Attacks on Ukrainian Ports; Wheat Prices Surge Higher All three U.S. wheat prices were higher Wednesday and September Chicago wheat led the way with a 57-cent gain after Russia unleashed more missiles and drones on Ukrainian ports. New-crop prices of corn and soybeans also finished higher, supported by a mostly dry forecast with hotter temperatures expected after Friday. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed up 16 3/4 cents and December corn was up 18 1/2 cents. August soybeans closed down 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 13 1/2 cents. September KC wheat closed up 39 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was up 57 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was up 19 3/4 cents.
