Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 7 cents, November soybeans were steady and September KC wheat was down 11 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, Dow Jones futures are trading lower, in line with Europe and Asia as traders anticipate a quarter-percent rate hike later in the day. Earnings reports from big companies continue to roll in. CNBC.com reported positive results at Alphabet, while Microsoft disappointed investors. U.S. new homes sales will be out at 9 a.m. CDT Wednesday, followed by the Energy Department's weekly energy inventories at 9:30 a.m. The Federal Reserve announcement is scheduled at 1 p.m., followed by a press conference with Fed Chairman Powell. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 26.83 at 35,438.07 and the S&P 500 Index up 12.82 at 4,567.46. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.91%. Early Wednesday, September Dow Jones futures are down 56 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.34%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.42% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 1.24%. Asian markets are also lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.04% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.26%.
