DTN Closing Grain Comments 07/31 13:51 Rain Makes Pain For Bulls in Corn, Soybeans, Wheat Less than a week after crops were stressed by hot temperatures across the Midwest, the forecast turned wetter and more promising, especially for row crops in early August. December corn closed down 17 1/4 cents, November soybeans were down 50 3/4 cents and September contracts of all three U.S. wheats ended down 38 1/2 to 43 1/2 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed down 17 cents and December corn was down 17 1/4 cents. August soybeans closed down 41 cents and November soybeans were down 50 3/4 cents. September KC wheat closed down 43 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 38 1/2 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 40 1/4 cents.
