DTN Early Word Grains 07/31 05:47 Grain Prices Lower on Cooler Temperatures, Rain Forecasts, Speculative Liquidation December corn is down 10 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 25 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 13 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 20 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 11 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 10 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 25 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is down 13 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is down 20 1/4 cents and September Minneapolis wheat is down 11 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Monday morning after finishing the week with another strong performance on Friday. Both the Dow and the S&P 500 are now closing in on the highs made at the end of 2021 before the Federal Reserve embarked on their interest rate hikes. The economic data the market will be focused on this week will include the ISM manufacturing PMI that will be released on Tuesday, the ISM services PMI that will be released on Thursday, and the U.S. non-farm payrolls report which will be released on Friday morning. The Fed is not going to meet again until September so they will get two months of economic data before they need to make their next decision. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 176.57 at 35,459.29 and the S&P 500 up 44.82 at 4,582.23, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.97%. Early Monday, the September Dow Jones Futures are up 27 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.16%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.02% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.35%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.26% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.46%.
