DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/03 13:55 Corn and Wheat Drag Lower; Soybeans Find Light Support December corn closed down 7 cents, ending near its lowest prices of the year with more rain in the forecast. Wheat prices were also lower, suffering a lack of demand, but 96.7 mb of reported new-crop soybean export sales last week helped November soybeans end up 4 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: September corn closed down 7 1/2 cents and December corn was down 7 cents. September soybeans closed up 5 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 4 cents. September KC wheat closed down 19 1/2 cents, September Chicago wheat was down 13 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 15 1/2 cents.
