DTN Early Word Grains 08/07 05:33 Soybeans Lower, Wheat Higher Early Monday December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were down 25 cents and September KC wheat was up 11 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were down 25 cents and September KC wheat was up 11 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, Dow Jones futures are trading higher with the next report on consumer prices due out Thursday morning. DTN's Digital Yield Tour kicks off Monday with national corn and soybean estimates from Gro Intelligence. USDA's weekly report of export inspections will be out at 10 a.m. CDT, followed by USDA's Crop Progress at 3 p.m. Canada's markets are closed Monday, but earnings season continues in the U.S. According to CNBC.com and FactSet, 84% of S&P 500 companies have reported second quarter earnings and 80% of those have exceeded expectations. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 150.27 at 35,065.62 and the S&P 500 Index down 23.86 at 4,478.03. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.06%. Early Monday, September Dow Jones futures are up 70 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.60%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.54% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.51%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.19% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.59%.
