DTN Early Word Grains 08/11 05:38 Corn, Soybean Prices Mixed Ahead of Friday's Reports December corn was down 1 cent, November soybeans were up 6 cents and September KC wheat was up 1/2 cent. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 1 cent, November soybeans were up 6 cents and September KC wheat was up 1/2 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Friday, Dow Jones futures are trading a little higher, while European stocks are lower. Stocks in China fell 2% Friday, heading toward its lows of the summer as the country contends with deflation. U.S. producer prices for July will be out at 7:30 a.m. CDT Friday, followed by the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment index for early August at 9 a.m. USDA's WASDE and Crop Production reports are set for 11 a.m., followed by estimates of prevented plantings from the Farm Service Agency at noon. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 52.79 at 35,176.15 and the S&P 500 Index up 1.12 at 4,468.83. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.08%. Early Friday, September Dow Jones futures are up 29 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.98%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.48% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.78%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.84% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 2.01%.
