DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/18 13:57 Row Crop Prices Push Higher as Temperatures Rise; Funds Pull Back Shorts in Chicago Wheat December corn closed up 7 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 23 1/4 cents, finding a third day of support from the anticipation of higher temperatures and mostly dry weather ahead. December Chicago wheat was up 23 3/4 cents, posting the highest percentage gain of the day as funds likely trimmed back their well-known short positions. September soybeans closed up 26 cents and November soybeans were up 23 1/4 cents. December KC wheat closed up 19 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 23 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 14 1/4 cents.
