DTN Closing Grain Comments 08/30 14:06 Kansas City, Minneapolis Wheats Set New Low; Corn, Soybeans, Soy Products Finish Lower Early strength in corn and soybeans failed to hold despite the mostly hot and dry forecast ahead with a second consecutive lower finish. Chicago wheat matched Tuesday's new low before bouncing, while KC and Minneapolis scored new contract lows with KC recovering to finish higher. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 6 cents per bushel at $4.81 and March corn was down 4 3/4 cents at $4.97. November soybeans closed down 5 3/4 cents at $13.87 and January soybeans were down 5 1/4 cents at $13.99 3/4. December KC wheat closed up 2 1/2 cents at $7.32, December Chicago wheat was up 6 1/2 cents at $6.07 and December Minneapolis wheat was down 6 1/4 cents at $7.80.
