DTN Early Word Grains 08/30 05:44 Grain Prices Higher as Weather Forecasts Remain Detrimental for U.S. Corn, Soybean Yields December corn is up 4 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 7 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 1 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 5 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 2 1/4 cents. By Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 4 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 7 3/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 1 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 5 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 2 1/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Wednesday morning, with Asia a little stronger while the U.S. and Europe are weaker. Tuesday was another strong session with weak economic news being traded as bullish due to the potential that weaker economic news could keep the Fed from raising rates. Both consumer confidence and the Cash-Shiller home index were weaker than expected, and that triggered the equity rally. Wednesday morning, traders will be looking at the ADP employment data, inventory data, and the 2nd quarter revision of GDP. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 292.69 at 34,852.67 and the S&P 500 up 64.32 at 4,497.63, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.12%. Early Wednesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 1 point. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.17%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.48% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.51%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.33% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.04%.
