DTN Early Word Grains 09/06 05:22 Soybean Prices Higher After Drop in USDA Crop Rating December corn was up 2 cents, November soybeans were up 12 cents and December KC wheat was up 4 1/2 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was up 2 cents, November soybeans were up 12 cents and December KC wheat was up 4 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, Dow Jones futures are starting lower, in line with markets in Europe. The U.S. Commerce Department will report on the U.S. trade deficit for July at 7:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday. USDA will follow later Wednesday morning with more specific ag export data. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 195.74 at 34,641.97 and the S&P 500 Index down 18.94 at 4,496.83. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.27%. Early Wednesday, September Dow Jones futures are down 45 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.88%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.31% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.77%. Asian markets are a little higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.62% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12%.
