A small but steady stream of white wheat export demand remains supportive. Weekly Sales...USDA reported another relatively good week of export demand for U.S. wheat, coming in at 13.6 mb but about 10% under the four- week average. Year-to-date commitments stand at 289 mb, which is 21% off last year's pace and 28% below the five-year average for early September. Hard red spring was the top seller with 2.3 mb, which puts sales at 103 mb; 1% behind a year ago and 10% below average. White wheat saw 4 mb in new sales and with 57 mb in commitments, stands 30% below both a year ago and the five-year pace. Hard red winter booked 2.3 mb and with 52 mb in commitments, sets 51% behind a year ago and 62% below average. Top Buyers...Taiwan was the top U.S. wheat buyer last week, securing a total of 3.9 mb of mostly hard red spring wheat.
