DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/12 13:52 Corn, Soybeans Crumble on Acreage, Stocks; Wheat Rises on World Production Cuts While both corn and soybeans had expected lower yields and production in Tuesday's WASDE compared to August, the cuts were smaller than expected, and ending stocks higher than expected on a rise in harvested acres and reduction in new-crop demand. World wheat stocks fell an unexpected 7 mmt on production cuts from four countries. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 9 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans finished down 22 1/2 cents per bushel. December KC wheat ended up 7 cents per bushel, December Chicago wheat closed up 3 cents per bushel and December Minneapolis wheat was up 12 1/4 cents.
