DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/13 13:48 Wheat Extends Surge on Falling Global Supplies, Escalation in Russia-Ukraine War, Soybeans Recover from Early Selling In quiet post-report trade, all three wheat markets extended Tuesday's reversal gains after both Chicago and Kansas City recovered from new contract lows on declining world supplies. Soybeans and soymeal sagged lower again. Corn futures finished more than a nickel higher after threatening to break the lower end of a month-long range on Tuesday. November soybeans were able to recover from early lows to finish higher for the day. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed up 5 3/4 cents per bushel and November soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents per bushel. December KC wheat closed up 14 cents per bushel, December Chicago wheat closed up 9 3/4 cents per bushel and December Minneapolis wheat settled up 6 cents.
