DTN Early Word Grains 09/13 05:49 Grain Prices Mixed With Corn, Wheat Higher After Tuesday's USDA Supply and Demand Report December corn is up 3 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 1 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is up 9 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 10 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 6 3/4 cents. By Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 3 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 1 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is up 9 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 10 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is up 6 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: U.S. equity markets are mixed Wednesday morning as the market awaits the CPI data scheduled for release at 7:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday morning. Traders are looking for a small uptick in inflation, with expectations that the CPI will be up 0.6% in August, primarily due to higher energy prices. Core CPI is forecast to be up 0.2%, with year over year CPI up 3.6% and year over year Core CPI up 4.3%. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 17.73 at 34,645.99 and the S&P 500 down 25.56 at 4,461.90, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.26%. Early Wednesday, the September Dow Jones Futures are down 57 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.4%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.85% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.76%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.21% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.45%.
