DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/18 14:36 Grains, Soybeans Encounter Bearish Monday December corn fell to a new 2023 low, November soybeans closed down 23 1/2 cents and December contracts of all three U.S. wheats suffered double-digit losses Monday with row-crop harvest starting to pick up. Rain over the weekend in the southwestern Plains also offered some help to the next round of winter wheat conditions. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 4 3/4 cents and July corn was down 4 3/4 cents. November soybeans closed down 23 1/2 cents and July soybeans were down 19 3/4 cents. December KC wheat closed down 11 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat was down 13 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 11 1/2 cents.
