DTN Early Word Grains 09/18 05:27 Quiet Start Early Monday With Wheat Lower December corn was up 1 cent, November soybeans were down 1 1/2 cents and December KC wheat was down 8 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was up 1 cent, November soybeans were down 1 1/2 cents and December KC wheat was down 8 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, Dow Jones futures are trading a little higher with traders cautious about the Federal Reserve's next rate announcement on Wednesday.USDA's weekly grain export inspections at 10 a.m. CDT, followed by USDA's Livestock, Poultry and Dairy Outlook at 2 p.m. and Crop Progress at 3 p.m. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 288.87 at 34,618.24 and the S&P 500 Index down 54.78 at 4,450.32. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.32%. Early Monday, December Dow Jones futures are up 31 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.28%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.54% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.88%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.10% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.26%.
