Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was up 1/2 cent, November soybeans were up 1 cent and December KC wheat was up 8 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, Dow Jones futures are trading higher ahead of Wednesday afternoon's rate decision. Many expect the Fed to keep the federal funds rate unchanged at their 1 p.m. announcement, but a quarter-percent hike is possible. The U.S. Energy Department's weekly report of energy inventories will be released at 9:30 a.m. CDT. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 106.57 at 34,517.73 and the S&P 500 Index down 9.58 at 4,443.95. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.37%. Early Wednesday, December Dow Jones futures are up 70 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.69%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.51% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.25%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.66% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.52%.
