DTN Early Word Grains 10/05 05:32 Soybeans Start Thursday Lower With New Low in Bean Oil December corn was down 1 1/2 cents, November soybeans were down 8 cents and December KC wheat was up 4 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 1 1/2 cents, November soybeans were down 8 cents and December KC wheat was up 4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Thursday, Dow Jones futures are trading lower as traders remain concerned about the chances for higher interest rates yet this year. USDA's weekly export sales report is due out at 7:30 a.m. CDT Thursday, the same time as weekly U.S. jobless claims, the U.S. trade deficit for August and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. The U.S. Energy Department's weekly report of natural gas storage is at 9:30 a.m. U.S. jobs data will be out Friday morning. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 127.17 at 33,129.55 and the S&P 500 Index up 34.30 at 4,263.75. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.74%. Early Thursday, December Dow Jones futures are down 99 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.22%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.14% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.30%. Asian markets are a little higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.80%.
