DTN Early Word Grains 10/25 05:43 Grain Markets Mixed, Overnight Strength Fading December corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 1/4 cent, December KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and December Minneapolis wheat is up 5 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, November soybeans are down 1/4 cent, December KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, December Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and December Minneapolis wheat is up 5 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Wednesday morning after Tuesday's U.S. rally driven by interest rates where the 10-year note fell back below 5.0%. Wednesday morning, the focus is on the earnings release of Alphabet and Microsoft. Alphabet results disappointed the trade while Microsoft beat expectations, leading to the mixed tone for Wednesday morning's open. Tuesday's PMI numbers were better than expected, as have so many other recent pieces of economic data. Wednesday, we will get new home sales data. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 204.97 at 33,141.38 and the S&P 500 up 30.64 at 4,247.68, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.84%. Early Wednesday, the December Dow Jones Futures are up 5 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.08%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.35% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.47%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.67% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.4%.
