DTN Early Word Grains 10/27 05:51 Grain Markets Mixed Friday Morning With Corn, Soybeans Recovering Some of This Week's Losses December corn is up 3 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 12 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 1/2 cent and December Minneapolis wheat is up 1 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 3 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 12 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 1/2 cent and December Minneapolis wheat is up 1 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Friday morning with some markets lower in sympathy with another poor session in the U.S. on Thursday. U.S. futures are higher Friday morning as Amazon reported earnings after Thursday's close and those results were stronger than trade expectations. Thursday's economic data was strong, with 3rd quarter GDP at 4.9%, higher than traders anticipated. Durable goods were also sharply higher than expectations, and this hurt the stock market as it keeps the "higher for longer" narrative at the forefront of traders' minds. Friday morning, we will get new inflation data with PCE and Core PCE numbers out at 7:30 a.m. CDT. Should these numbers be stronger than expected, Friday morning's strength could disappear. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 251.63 at 32,784.30 and the S&P 500 down 49.54 at 4,137.23, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.85%. Early Friday, the December Dow Jones Futures are up 37 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.13%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.57% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.41%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 1.27% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.99%.
