DTN Early Word Grains 10/30 05:36 Soybean Prices Higher Early Monday, While Wheat Struggles to Find Demand December corn was down 1 cent, January soybeans were up 4 cents and December KC wheat was down 7 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn was down 1 cent, January soybeans were up 4 cents and December KC wheat was down 7 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, Dow Jones futures are trading higher, helped by a higher start in Europe. All eyes will be on the Federal Reserve Wednesday when they announce their next decision in interest rates. Many expect rates to hold steady after similar decisions last week from central banks in Canada and Europe. Back from the weekend, traders will catch up on the latest news from Israel and Ukraine, as well as the latest weather forecasts. USDA's weekly grain export inspections report is set for 10 a.m. CDT, followed by Crop Progress at 3 p.m. when USDA will post its first winter wheat crop ratings for the new season. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 366.71 at 32,417.59 and the S&P 500 Index down 19.86 at 4,117.37. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.85%. Early Monday, December Dow Jones futures are up 164 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.62%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.29% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.37%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.95% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12%.
