DTN Early Word Grains 11/10 05:51 Grain Markets Mostly Lower Friday After Thursday's Bearishly Construed Production Reports December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, January soybeans are down 5 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 2 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, January soybeans are down 5 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 2 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat is down 3 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are lower Friday morning, catching up to the U.S. markets which fell sharply Thursday. Fed Chairman Powell spoke Thursday and abandoned the dovishness of his post-meeting press conference with a more hawkish tone in his speech Thursday. He suggested that the work might not yet be done in regard to higher interest rates, and that sent equity prices in the U.S. falling. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 220.33 at 33,891.94 and the S&P 500 down 35.43 at 4,347.35, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.63%. Early Friday, the December Dow Jones Futures are up 30 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 1.35%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.79% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 1.17%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.24% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.47%.
