Statement from Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack on the Economic Research Service’s 2023 Rural America at a Glance Report

WASHINGTON, November 15, 2023 – Today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Economic Research Service released the 2023 Rural America at a Glance Report. This annual report examines rural trends across issues such as population and migration, poverty, housing insecurity, employment, and clean energy jobs. The report found that the U.S. rural population is growing again after a decade of overall population loss.

What is GreatAg?

This system can also benefit the grower by providing 24-7 access to all the terms and conditions of their policies and the status of every claim they've filed. The grower can also monitor their account with Great American and premium payments can be made online.

Training

We offer over 400 classes in multiple locations to fit your needs.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
