DTN Closing Livestock Comment 11/17 16:02 Feeder Cattle Placements in October Increased 4% The focus all week in cattle trade was the Cattle on Feed Report release Friday afternoon. Cattle placements in October increased 4% from last year, but well below average estimates. Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: From Friday-to-Friday, livestock futures scored the following changes: December Live cattle up $1.57, February Live cattle up $2.15; January Feeder cattle off $1.22, March Feeder cattle up $2.35; December Lean hogs off $0.92, December Lean hogs off $0.92; December Pork cutout off $0.60, December Pork cutout off $0.60.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
