USDA Provides $208 Million to Help Prevent Guaranteed Borrower Foreclosures and to Assist Emergency Loan Borrowers

WASHINGTON, Nov. 30, 2023 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced that it is providing approximately $208 million in automatic financial assistance for qualifying farm and emergency loan borrowers. This announcement is made possible by $3.1 billion in assistance for distressed farm loan borrowers provided in Section 22006 of the Inflation Reduction Act, an important part of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda.

This system can also benefit the grower by providing 24-7 access to all the terms and conditions of their policies and the status of every claim they've filed. The grower can also monitor their account with Great American and premium payments can be made online.

We offer over 400 classes in multiple locations to fit your needs.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
