DTN Early Word Grains 12/11 05:31 U.S. Crop Prices Mixed Early Monday March corn was down 2 cents, January soybeans were up 4 cents and March KC wheat was down 7 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn was down 2 cents, January soybeans were up 4 cents and March KC wheat was down 7 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, Dow Jones futures are trading a little lower, ahead of the Federal Reserve's next interest rate announcement, due out Wednesday. Back from the weekend, traders will continue to keep watch over South American weather. USDA's weekly report of grain export inspections is set for 10 a.m. CST Monday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 130.49 at 36,247.87 and the S&P 500 Index up 18.78 at 4,604.37. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.25%. Early Monday, December Dow Jones futures are down 29 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.36%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.04% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.08%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.50% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.74%.
