Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn was down 4 cents, January soybeans were down 11 cents and March KC wheat was down 9 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, Dow Jones futures are trading a little higher with many expecting the Federal Reserve to keep the federal funds rate target unchanged with an upper limit of 5.50%. The Federal Reserve will make its announcement on interest rates at 1 p.m. CST with economic projections also expected. The U.S. Labor Department's producer price index will be out at 7:30 a.m. CST Wednesday, followed by the Energy Department's weekly inventory report at 9:30 a.m., including ethanol production. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 173.01 at 36,577.94 and the S&P 500 Index up 21.26 at 4,643.70. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.21%. Early Wednesday, December Dow Jones futures are up 33 points. European markets are a little higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.28%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.16% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.38%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.25% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.15%.
