DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/04 14:02 Soybean Prices Sag Lower, While Forecast For Central Brazil Remains Wet March soybeans closed down 9 1/2 cents Thursday, still pressured by a broad coverage of rain in the forecast for central and northern Brazil the next two weeks. March corn ended up 1 1/4 cents and all three U.S. wheats were higher with March Chicago up 13 1/4 cents at $6.13 1/2. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1 1/4 cents and July corn was up 1/2 cent. March soybeans closed down 9 1/2 cents and July soybeans were down 8 cents. March KC wheat closed up 4 1/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 13 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 2 3/4 cents.
