DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/05 13:49 Row Crop Prices End Bearish Week With Lower Closes Friday March corn closed down 5 3/4 cents and March soybeans were down 11 1/4 cents Friday, extending new lows for both after a week that was dominated by rain and wet forecasts in central Brazil. March contracts of U.S. wheats ending the day a little higher, but were also lower on the week. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 5 3/4 cents and December corn was down 4 3/4 cents. March soybeans closed down 11 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 12 1/4 cents. March KC wheat closed up 2 1/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 2 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 3/4 cent.
