DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/12 14:22 Corn, Soybean Prices Fall After USDA Estimates Larger US Crops March corn closed down 10 3/4 cents and March soybeans were down 12 1/4 cents after USDA estimated higher-than-expected U.S. crops in 2023. March KC wheat ended down 3/4 cent, finding some support from a lower-than-expected planting estimate for HRW wheat in 2024-25. Todd Hultman Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 10 3/4 cents and December corn was down 8 cents. March soybeans closed down 12 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 5 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 3/4 cent, March Chicago wheat was down 7 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 1/2 cent.
