DTN Early Word Grains 01/23 05:41 Grain Markets Higher Tuesday Morning on Oversold Conditions March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans are up 2 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is up 1 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 1/4 cent. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans are up 2 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is up 1 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is up 1 1/2 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 1/4 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly lower Tuesday morning, despite another new record close in the S&P 500 on Monday. Interest rates relaxed slightly, providing some support to the stock market although we have been rallying recently despite the move higher in rates. Monday's U.S. leading economic indicators were down 0.1% which was better than the median forecast. There are no major economic reports that will be released Tuesday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 138.01 at 38,001.81 and the S&P 500 up 10.62 at 4,850.43, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.09%. Early Tuesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 41 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.31%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.06% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.17%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.08% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.53%.
