DTN Early Word Grains 01/31 05:46 Grain Markets Lower Wednesday Morning after Tuesday's Reversals March corn is down 1 1/2 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 10 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 7 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 7 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 6 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is down 1 1/2 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 10 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 7 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 7 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 6 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Wednesday morning, and the market is likely to be quiet ahead of the Federal Reserve's decision Wednesday and probably more importantly, the post meeting press conference. Traders expect interest rates to be held steady this month, but they will be anxious to see if Fed Chairman Powell signals the potential for the first rate cut to happen in March. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 133.86 at 38,467.31 and the S&P 500 down 2.96 at 4,924.97, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.06%. Early Wednesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are up 61 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 is steady, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.16% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.1%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.61% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 1.48%.
