DTN Closing Livestock Comment 02/08 15:43 Still Waiting on Cash Cattle to Trade Heading into Friday's trade, seeing what develops in the cash cattle market will be a priority. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was a busy day for the livestock complex, but thankfully for the cattle contracts, the day was rather supportive. The lean hog market didn't find the same support in Thursday's trade as cattle contracts did, but both markets were thankful to see strong export demand. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $1.31 with a weighted average price of $65.06 on 1,122 head. March corn is down 1 cent per bushel and March soybean meal is down $4.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 32.39 points.
