DTN Early Word Grains 02/14 07:53 Grain Markets Lower With All Grains Testing Recent Lows March corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 6 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 10 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 12 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 7 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel, March soybeans are down 6 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 10 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 12 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 7 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are trying to rebound Wednesday morning after Tuesday's world equity markets took a major hit upon the release of the U.S. CPI numbers. Those estimates showed slightly higher consumer prices than were forecast by the trade. CPI and Core CPI came in at 0.1% higher than trade estimates, while year over year numbers were 0.2% higher. Equity prices tumbled on that news as it likely ensures the "higher for longer" scenario that the Federal Reserve members have been speaking about. There is no major economic data that will be released Wednesday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 524.63 at 38,272.75 and the S&P 500 down 68.67 at 4,953.17, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.32%. Early Wednesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are up 82 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.86%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.22% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.38%. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.69% while the China's Shanghai Composite Index remains closed for holiday.
