DTN Closing Livestock Comment 02/21 15:55 Strong Fundamentals Keep Cattle Trending Higher Wednesday Heading into Thursday's market, packer interest could improve and bids may begin to surface. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: It was another strong day for the cattle complex as the market continued to trade steady or somewhat higher, thanks to its strong fundamental footing, but the hog market wasn't as supported. March corn is down 7 3/4 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $5. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 48.44 points. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $2.37 with a weighted average price of $72.62 on 5,440 head.

We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
